Hurricane Forecast for Atlantic Season Raised by U.S.
Aug. 7 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. government forecasters raised their prediction for the 2008 Atlantic hurricane season to an ``above-normal'' 14 to 18 named storms.

Aug. 5 (Bloomberg) -- Hurricane forecasters from Colorado State University today raised the number of Atlantic storms they expect this year by two to 17, including nine hurricanes, five of them major.
