Maritimes & Northeast (M&N) has limited operational flexibility to manage imbalances.  Effective 9:00 AM CCT, June 30, 2026, M&N requires all shippers and point operators to keep actual daily takes out of the system equal to or less than scheduled quantities regardless of their cumulative imbalance position unless otherwise coordinated with your operations account representative.
Additionally, M&N continues to require all Power Plant Operators to provide information mandated by FERC Order No. 698 until further notice. Information required includes the hourly consumption profile of directly connected power generation facilities.
To the extent shippers and/or point operators do not adhere to this requirement, M&N will utilize any provision of its tariff to ensure system integrity including the issuance of customer specific or system wide OFOs.

Effective immediately, MNCA requires all shippers and point operators to carefully review demand for gas and schedule gas consistent with daily needs and to tender and receive gas consistent with confirmed nominations regardless of their cumulative imbalance position.

For Gas Day August 9, 2026, Maritimes & Northeast (M&N) has approved and scheduled nominations at each pipeline segment and meter station up to M&N's operational capacity.  The following location has been restricted due to requested nominations exceeding M&N's operational capacity:
M&N has restricted Interruptible receipt nominations from MR 30001 - DRACUT INTERCONNECT - ESSEX CO. MA. (REC 30016).  No additional receipt nominations from MR 30001 - DRACUT INTERCONNECT - ESSEX CO. MA. (REC 30016) will be accepted except to comply with NAESB bump guidelines into the M&N system.
Customers are advised that capacity may become available as the nomination and confirmation process continues throughout the day.

Maritimes Canada (MNCA) is currently experiencing high linepack levels with some shippers having large cumulative imbalances.   In the event shippers continue to grow their cumulative Due Shipper imbalances, MNCA may take necessary steps to keep them in balance, including but not limited to, customer specific OFO's in order to maintain the operational integrity of the pipeline.

Maritimes Canada (MNC) has been experiencing large daily Due Shipper imbalances. Effective for Gas Day September 5, 2026, MNC requires shippers and point operators not to exceed daily due shipper imbalances of 500 GJ or 10% (whichever is greater) regardless of their cumulative imbalances.   As such, MNC will not allow Transaction Type 04 nominations in excess of 500 GJ per contract.
To the extent shippers and/or point operators do not adhere to this requirement, MNC may issue customer specific OFOs pursuant to General Terms and Conditions Section 10, in order to maintain the operational integrity of the system.
This notice will remain in effect until further notice.
Correspondingly, effective 9:00 AM CCT, September 5, 2026, the previously posted imbalance notice is no longer in effect.

Maritimes & Northeast (M&N) has limited operational flexibility to manage imbalances.  Effective 9:00 AM CCT, September 5, 2026, M&N requires all shippers and point operators to keep actual daily takes out of the system equal to or greater than scheduled quantities regardless of their cumulative imbalance position unless otherwise coordinated with your operations account representative.
Correspondingly, effective 9:00 AM CCT, September 5, 2026, the previously posted imbalance notice is no longer in effect.
Additionally, M&N continues to require all Power Plant Operators to provide information mandated by FERC Order No. 698 until further notice. Information required includes the hourly consumption profile of directly connected power generation facilities.
To the extent shippers and/or point operators do not adhere to this requirement,
M&N will utilize any provision of its tariff to ensure system integrity including the issuance of customer specific or system wide OFOs.
This notice will remain in effect until further notice.
